STEEL s.a. has been holding the ISO 9001 certification since 2003 but had not waited that long to lay stress on quality.
Quality has always been one of the mainstays of our management policy.
It is a daily concern of aIl departments and services of the Company.
Beyond the obligations attached to the ISO 9001 standard STEEL s.a. sees to it that aIl members of the Company focus on a proactive customer approach. We try to establish a true complicity.
ln addition we attend to each case specifically in order to find the solution adapted to any type of demand; we provide assistance at aIl levels and stand out by our swiftness of execution. Also, we always keep in mind to offer our customers the best of service. STEEL s.a. may grow with respect to turnover, floor area and personnel, but it will always stick to the basic value of proximity with its personnel and customers.
STEEL s.a. stresses safety as an essential part of the company’s culture. It sees to it that safety gestures become a reflex with everyone in order to prevent casualties and bodily and/or material damage.
STEEL s.a. therefore insists on the implementation of the following:
- Systematic and thorough analysis of the risks for any project.STEEL s.a. is in a position to anticipate the measures required for a preventive approach of the safety problem and to provide the necessary improvements. In some special cases we use measurable objectives and indicators, which are subsequently followed up and strictly evaluated.
- Training of the personnel and stimulnting their awareness. All members get a thorough training in safety that will enable them to care for their own safety and that of their colleagues within the scope of their mission.
- Systematic use of adequate protection equipment.
Our commitment to environment is a decision emanating from the highest level of our organization and it is respected by aIl members of the Company.
It shows in simple daily gestures such as the sorting of garbage with a view to an optimalized "environmental impact/cost" ratio. It is also a strategic decision through our investment in an automated control system of our electrical installations in order to reduce our energy consumption (putting out the lighting and "non essential" plugs during the nights and weekends).
By such actions we feel proud to contribute to a global improvement of our environment and to the collective well-being.
In order to share its expertise STEEL s.a. has set up a partnership with many schools such as the ECAM (Industrial Engineers Studies) to take charge of the students's final dissertations. By their experience and know-how our engineers offer the students a practical and concrete approach adapted to their projects.
